Somalia: Seyoum On Working Visit to Somalia

A high-level delegation led by Foreign Minister Seyoum Mesfin arrived in Mogadishu on a working visit to Somalia.

According to ENA reporter Dawit Berhanu, the delegation was welcomed up on arrival at the Mogadishu International Airport by the Transitional Federal Government (TFG) Prime Minister Ali Mohammed Gedi.

The delegation had talks with TFG President Abdullahi Yosuf and other government officials.

The talks centred on the prevalence of peace and stability in Mogadishu.

The two sides also discussed ways of further strengthening reconstruction activities, peace and governmental institutions.

According to the reporter, various reconstruction activities are being carried out in Mogadishu presently as peace has prevailed.
