The Delegation from Somaliland Left Las Anod with lots of Promises to
come.

LAS ANOD, Somalia July 29 (Djiboutination )
The delegation from the
Somaliland was
in Las Anod. The two days
visit of the Somaliland
delegation included
minister of Justice Ahmed
Hassan Ali and the deputy
speaker of the house.
Mr.Basha Mohamed Farah as
well as other members of
parliamentarians were
received in Las Anod by
local elders and politicians
yesterday.
Mr. Basha Mohamed Farah, second deputy Speaker of
Somaliland's House of
Representatives, told the
elders that their
visit in the region is part
of
our government efforts to
bring development
initiatives to the people of
Las
Anod. The delegation met
with local leaders in Las
Anod and briefed them about
their visit.
The delegation also had lunch with Ahmed
Abdi Habsade, the former
Puntland
security minister.
Col. Habsade briefed the
delegation about the
conflict of
Buudoodle which he said both
parties accepted to
negotiate for lasting peace.
The delegation thanked Mr.
Habsade for his hard work to
end this conflict.
Habsade was in Buuhoodle two
months and made peace
initiatives with the two
tribes who live togather in
Buuhoodle.
Delegation members told reporters of Afnugaal.Com.
that they plan to come here
regularly, "it's our
strategy to improve the
lively hood of Sool Cayn and
Sanag, these people have
been neglected so long by
the puntland government and
the international
organization. We have been
getting calls from the Sool
People about the Inflation
which Puntland and Mbagate
Government created. The
people suffered
because of the tens of
billions of fake money
printed by
Puntland and the TFG which
destabilized the regions of
Sool, sanag and cayn".
Basha said This is why we are here and we have
the obligation to help the
people of sool, Sanag, and
Cayn. We are also looking
other ways to help our
people in this crucial time.
The delegation will visit
the Districts of
kalabydh, saxdheer, Karin
Sharia, Qorilay,
Xidhxidh, and Widhwidh.
The
delegation come in a time
when Las Anod and
surrounding areas have
economy
crisis due to the
circulation of the
counterfeit money printed
and used by
Col. Abdullah Yusuf and Gen.
Cadde.
